The boiled wool coat is one of the most unique and stylish pieces in our collection. The texture of this fabric is surreal - you have to see it (and feel it) in person to get the full effect. Boiled wool is created from a heavy-duty raw wool that has been shrunken and thickened using an ancient process known as “fulling” or “felting”. Through this unique treatment process the fabric becomes more textured, warmer, more durable and highly water resistant. If you’re looking for a sexy coat that is unique - but still extremely versatile and functional - this is the perfect choice.
